Moondrop has launched the Space Travel 2 Ultra (MD-TWS-043), a new addition to its budget-friendly TWS lineup. Priced at $39.99, the earbuds will be sold through Moondrop’s Amazon store and authorized distributors.

Noise Cancellation and Audio Quality

The Space Travel 2 Ultra offers a 36% improvement in effective noise cancellation area compared to the previous model. Unlike traditional hybrid ANC designs, it uses a feedforward-only ANC system to avoid bass distortion while providing wideband coverage.

At its core is a 13mm patented single-magnetic annular planar driver, using N55 magnets and ultra-thin CCAW coils for high energy efficiency, superior treble extension, and low distortion. The tuning follows Moondrop’s VDSF Target Response, resulting in a natural sound profile with less than 0.05% total harmonic distortion.

Codec and Connectivity

The earbuds support LDAC, AAC, and SBC, delivering up to 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution playback. Bluetooth 6.0 ensures faster response and more stable connections.

Battery life is rated at 7 hours per earbud (AAC) and 24 hours with the charging case.
