Honor has quietly introduced its latest entry-level smartphone, the Honor Play 10. This model is designed for budget conscious buyers, running on the lightweight version of Android, a 4G chipset, and a sizeable battery to meet the buyer’s everyday use.

The Chinese brand’s latest Play 10 model was announced with a tall 6.74-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution. Honor’s budget phone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G81 SoC, which is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While the RAM capacity is quite low, the Play 10 runs on the Android Go edition. Meanwhile, the storage can be expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

A sizeable 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports standard 10W charging from the USB Type-C 2.0 port. The Honor Play 10 measures 8.55mm in terms of thickness and weighs 189 grams. The Play 10 also arrives with an IP52 rating, which supports water and dust resistance. Other notable features include a 3.5mm audio jack, an FM radio, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 5, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner.
For photography, you get a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter. Honor announced the Play 10 in multiple storage configuration, namely Midnight Black, Starry Purple, and Ocean Cyan. As of right now, the pricing details are still at large, but more details should surface soon.
