iQOO has shared the first teaser for its upcoming Pad 5e tablet in China. The teaser comes alongside the announcement of pre-reservations for the iQOO 15 smartphone.

The teaser shows the Pad 5e in a subtle Green color with a clean rear panel. It has a circular camera module that sits in the corner, housing a single camera sensor and an LED flash. The module also carries ASPH camera branding. The overall design closely resembles the Pad 5 that debuted in China earlier this year.

Pre-reservations for the Pad 5e are now live through iQOO’s official China website, as well as JD.com and Tmall, suggesting the tablet could launch alongside the iQOO 15.

A previous leak suggests that the tablet will feature a 12.1-inch 2.8K display, which is slightly smaller than the Pad 5 Pro, but of the same resolution as the standard Pad 5.

Powering the device is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which also powers the iQOO Neo 10R smartphone.

The Pad 5e will join the existing Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro models. The Pad 5 Pro sports a 13.2-inch 3.1K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and professional-grade color accuracy, while the standard Pad 5 offers a similar 12.1-inch 2.8K panel with slightly lower brightness. Both models run Android 15 with OriginOS 5D and support features like floating windows, remote PC control, cross-device collaboration, and AI-powered productivity tools.

Moreover, the Pad 5 Pro comes with a 12,050mAh battery and 66W fast charging, while the Pad 5 has a 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging. Both devices include intelligent battery management and multiple energy-saving features. The Pro model weighs 635 grams with an 8-speaker sound system, whereas the Pad 5 weighs 590 grams with six speakers.

The Pad 5e might carry some of the features of its bigger siblings.
