Oppo has introduced a new version of the Reno 14 5G (review) in India. The brand has revealed a limited-run special edition that carries a culturally inspired design along with an innovative finish. This model comes with the same specifications as the regular version, while its appeal lies in the customized appearance and unique technology at the back panel.

The Oppo Reno 14 5G Diwali edition is styled around Indian motifs, including a mandala and a peacock, combined with flame-like accents that symbolise light and harmony. All of this is layered over a black-and-gold colour scheme that brings contrast and depth. What sets it apart is Oppo’s GlowShift technology, a heat-sensitive color-changing process that shifts the panel from black to gold depending on temperature.
The finish has been engineered through multiple material processes and is claimed to endure thousands of colour cycles, making it both practical and visually striking. The device is also built with an aerospace-grade frame, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Reno 14 5G special edition is priced at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB+256GB model, with festive discounts bringing the price down to Rs 36,999. Customers can also take advantage of no-cost EMI options, cashback up to Rs 3,000 with select bank partners, exchange bonuses worth Rs 3,000, and bundled subscriptions such as Google One cloud and OTT app access.

The phone features a 6.6-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, 8 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. A 50 megapixel autofocus front camera is also included. The device runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15, and comes with features like dual speakers, eSIM support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, advanced cooling, and IP68/69 durability in a slim 187 grams frame.
