HP has just taken portable monitors to the next level with the launch of its Series 5 Pro (514pn). It arrives as the world’s first portable monitor with Neo:LED technology. This model was just announced during HP’s Fall 2025 event, so here’s everything you need to know.
Meet HP’s 14-inch Portable Neo:LED Monitor
The HP Series 5 Pro (514pn) arrives with a 14-inch Neo:LED display that has a WQXGA resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels), a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits of peak brightness and a 75Hz refresh rate. The Neo:LED panel was made by LG and offers 100 percent Adobe RGB and Display P3 color gamut. So you get a vibrant panel with a focus on color accuracy.

The screen is surrounded by slim bezels on all four sides, and the portable monitor even has a built-in kick stand for standalone use. While it is capable of normal everyday use, like browsing or media consumption, the HP Series 5 Pro is designed for professionals and creators on the go. Meaning, you just need one USB Type-C cable to get it running, so there’s no hassle with multiple cables for power or display output.
HP Series 5 Pro 14″ Portable Monitor was just listed on the brand’s official website, but its official pricing is still at large. This model is expected to debut in December 2025. Apart from just being a compact display that you can carry around and work on, the HP Series Pro also works well for a multi monitor setup. In related news, HP just unveiled the Omen 35L Valorant Limited Edition PC with custom cooling and RTX 5000 series GPU.
