HMD has officially launched its new Touch 4G in India, a compact hybrid phone that bridges the gap between feature phones and smartphones. For a budget price tag, the Hybrid Phone packs a full touchscreen experience and other key features from smartphones into a tiny feature phone body.
The Tiny HMD Touch 4G Could Be India’s Most Affordable Smart Feature Phone Yet
Looking at the HMD Touch 4G, the device is what the brand calls a hybrid phone. It is expected to bridge the gap between the affordable feature phones with the versatility of a true smartphone. So you can consider this a smart feature phone. Its overall form factor is just like a feature phone, but the front has a full touchscreen panel that measures 3.2 inches tall. Other aspects that make it like a smartphone are the support for WiFi with hotspot and a selfie camera for selfies and video calls.

You even get access to cloud phone services to get access to news, weather, Express Chat app, texting, video calls, and much more. Under the hood, the HMD Touch 4G features the UNISOC T127 SoC, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can even expand storage by up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The front camera has a 0.3MP resolution, while the rear has a 2MP camera with flash. On a single full charge, HMD claims that the Touch 4G can last for up to 30 hours thanks to its 1,950mAh battery.
Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.0 support, GPS, Beidou, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance. The HMD Touch 4G was just announced in Cyan and Dark Blue in the Indian market. It carries a 3,999 INR price tag, and can be purchased from the brand’s official website as well as online and offline retailers.
