In July, Motorola introduced the Moto G100 Pro in China as a rebranded version of the Moto G86 Power. The phone featured a large battery and mid-range hardware aimed at practical users. Now, the brand has quietly launched the Moto G100 in China, revealing key hardware upgrades and an attractive price point for those who prefer reliable performance and long-lasting power. Here’s everything you need to know about the device.

The Moto G100 features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers up to 1050nits of peak brightness and supports DC dimming for better eye comfort, which the company describes as a “visual fatigue reduction” display. The device also includes dual stereo speakers for a balanced audio experience.

Under the hood, the Moto G100 is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, built on a 4nm process, ensuring improved performance and efficiency. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, but there’s no support for microSD expansion.

The phone houses a massive 7,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 15 with Motorola’s near-stock interface for smooth performance.

For photography, the Moto G100 includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens at the rear. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Other features include NFC support, side-mounted fingerprint recognition, graphite cooling, and IP64 dust and splash resistance. The phone measures 166.23 x 76.5 x 8.6mm, weighs 210g, and has a back made of air nano leather, offering a premium feel.

The Moto G100 is priced at 1,339 Yuan (~$188) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. It comes in Obsidian Black, Sky Blue, and Emerald Green color options.
