Coming Thursday (Oct. 23), Redmi will announce the Redmi K90 series of smartphones in China. The teasers released by the brand are shaping it to be an irresistible flagship phone, as it features the same display and primary camera available on the more premium Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Furthermore, it is the company’s first Redmi phone to feature a periscope telephoto camera. A new update from the brand has confirmed that it packs the largest battery ever on a Redmi phone.
Redmi K90 Pro battery size, charging capabilities

The above poster confirms that the Redmi K90 Pro Max houses a massive 7,560mAh battery. Before this, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which debuted earlier this year, packed a 7,550mAh battery.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It will also support the 100W PPS charging protocol and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.
The Redmi K90 Pro Max is officially confirmed to feature a 6.9-inch OLED screen that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come preloaded with Android 16 with a layer of HyperOS 3.0 on top.
The K90 Pro Max will draw power from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and will rely on the D2 chip for graphics performance. At present, there is no information about the K90 Pro Max’s front camera, but its rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 950 main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS, and an ultra-wide camera.
Recent teasers have also confirmed that the K90 Pro Max has three speakers, including a Bose-powered unit on the back. The handset will also offer an IP68/69-rated dust and water resistance.
Rumors are rife that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will be rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra globally. The company is yet to confirm the details of the Redmi K90, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Likely, it will be rebadged as the Poco F8 Pro in the global market.
