The countdown to Redmi’s next major launch has officially begun. Xiaomi‘s subsidiary is unveiling the Redmi K90 Pro Max model tomorrow, 23rd October 2025. And now, it has been confirmed that the standard Redmi K90 will also debut alongside this high end model.
What to Expect from the Redmi K90?
The Chinese tech giant will launch the Redmi K90 tomorrow with a familiar design, appearing similar to the flagship Xiaomi 17 or even the Apple iPhone 17. Earlier today, the brand shared a series of teasers that confirm much of the key specs and the design elements of the upcoming device. The Redmi K90 features a cold forging manufacturing process for its aluminum frame, with the front and back featuring a glass panel. Like the Xiaomi 17, it features a flat rear panel with rounded corners. It has a large rectangular camera module that houses the triple camera setup and LED flash module.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.59-inch OLED display with a high screen to body ratio of 94 percent, thanks to its uniform bezels on all four sides. While the resolution and refresh rate are still unknown, it will likely offer a 1.5K resolution and around 120Hz refresh rate. Notably, the Redmi K90’s screen is a tiny bit shorter than the 6.67-inch panel on the Redmi K80.
Under the hood, the base K90 is set to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite series chip, which could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This flagship grade chip might be paired with up to 16GB of RAM as well. Other notable features that were teased include a massive 7,100mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging support, a 2.1 audio system with Bose tuning, a 2.5x vertical telephoto shooter on the rear, and Android 16 OS based HyperOS 3 custom skin.
