iQOO has signalled the arrival of its latest flagship, the iQOO 15, in India. The brand’s powerful new smartphone just had its official Amazon landing page go live in the region, teasing some of its specs and features ahead of its Indian release.
iQOO 15 India Launch Confirmed: “Be the GOAT”
Looking at the Amazon listing, the Chinese company showcases the iQOO 15 with the “Be the GOAT” tagline. We get a glimpse at the halo light surrounding the camera module on the rear and its support for OriginOS 6, which is replacing the FuntouchOS platform in the global market. The iQOO 15 was officially unveiled in the Chinese market earlier this week, with this flagship model arriving in India sometime next month.
While the Amazon listing does not reveal any pricing details or key specs, the recent announcement in China confirms everything we need to know about this model. It sports a tall 6.85-inch Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, DCI P3 color gamut, HDR10+, up to 6000 nits of peak brightness, DC dimming, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and Dolby Vision.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. You get three 50MP cameras on the rear, while the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter. Other notable features include a massive 7000mAh battery pack with 100W wired and 40W wireless fast charging, an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and more.
