Panasonic has announced its latest 77-inch OLED TV, the 77Z8BA, expanding the brand’s premium lineup alongside the Z95A and Z95B. Pre-orders begin on October 27, 2025, with wider availability from mid-November. The 77Z8BA combines advanced picture quality, powerful sound, and a smart TV experience in a single device.

The TV runs on Panasonic’s HCX Pro AI Processor MK II and features a Master OLED Pro Cinema Size panel. This setup enhances brightness, contrast, and color accuracy, tuned using insights from Panasonic’s work with Hollywood studios. Dolby Vision IQ Precision Detail adjusts screen brightness through built-in ambient light sensors, ensuring every scene retains depth and clarity. The processor also powers AI-based 4K remastering, improving streaming clarity and reducing image noise.

For audio, the Z8BA uses 360 Soundscape Pro tuned by Technics, paired with Dolby Atmos support for immersive, multidirectional sound. The system delivers theater-like acoustics with clear dialogue and deep bass.

The TV comes with Fire TV built in, bringing together streaming apps, live channels, and recommendations on one home screen. Viewers can use far-field Alexa voice control to open apps, play music, or search for shows hands-free. The Z8BA also supports Alexa smart home control and Fire TV’s Ambient Experience, which transforms the screen into an art display or personal photo gallery. It’s compatible with Apple Home and AirPlay, allowing control through Siri and streaming from Apple devices.

For professionals, the Z8BA includes Calman and ISFccc calibration tools with 3D LUT support for precise color accuracy. It also supports NEXTGEN TV powered by ATSC 3.0, offering enhanced picture, sound, and interactive broadcast features.

Gamers get a 144Hz refresh rate, ultra-low latency, and Game Mode Extreme with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium support. True Game Mode refines color and contrast, while dedicated RPG and FPS sound modes enhance immersion. HDMI 2.1 with VRR up to 144Hz and Dolby Vision Gaming ensure smooth, detailed, and responsive gameplay across consoles and PCs.
