Xiaomi has updated the Redmi K Pad tablet lineup with a new “Flowing Gold White” color option. The new variant starts at 2,999 yuan ($420) for the 12GB + 256GB model after a 100-yuan ($14) first-sale discount. Xiaomi also offers a 16GB + 512GB version at a launch price of 3,499 yuan ($490).

This new finish joins the previously released Deep Black, Misty Purple, and Spruce Green color options. The tablet maintains its 8.8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3008×1880, a variable 165Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 700 nits in high-brightness mode. The display supports HDR10, HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The device continues to use the Dimensity 9400+ processor. Xiaomi has implemented a centered thermal architecture and a 12050mm² aluminum alloy vapor chamber to improve heat dissipation. The tablet supports native 3K full-frame gaming and includes the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.

Redmi equips the tablet with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The tablet features a symmetrical quad-speaker setup with four-voice coil drivers and Dolby Atmos, along with dual X-axis linear motors for enhanced haptic feedback.

The tablet supports Wi-Fi 7 and includes a three-antenna concurrent architecture to reduce latency. It also has Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1, and USB 2.0 ports. Xiaomi adds support for bypass charging via a new dual-USB-C design.

The device houses a 7500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. It has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Redmi K Pad weighs 326g and measures 6.46mm in thickness.

Alongside this, the company also unveiled the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphones, as well as the Redmi Watch 6.
