Amazfit has just launched its premium rugged smartwatch in a smaller new variant. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm has finally been released globally as a new compact model. But despite its tinier form factor, it still offers the same high end features and rugged design. So let’s check it out.
Amazfit’s Compact 44mm T-Rex 3 Pro Smartwatch Goes Global
The popular smart wearable maker first unveiled the smaller model of the T-Rex 3 Pro in the Chinese market. Now, the 44mm version of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is arriving in the global market. To recall, Amazfit’s original flagship T-Rex 3 Pro model came with a 48mm body. So the compact smartwatch gets a smaller 1.32-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, 353 ppi, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

Unfortunately, the smaller casing also means that the smartwatch houses a smaller 640mAh battery capacity as well. Amazfit claims that this model promises to offer up to 17 days of battery life on a single full charge. This model also has a rugged design that uses a fiber-reinforced plastic case, a Grade 5 titanium bezel and buttons, and 10ATM water resistance. You also get SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate tracking, skin temperature mapping, and stress levels monitoring.
Other notable features include WiFi (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 BLE, Bluetooth calling, Zepp Flow, support for over 187 sports modes, Zepp app, Strava, BioTracker 6.0 PPG, a six-satellite system for GPS, and built in flashlight. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm version is available in the UK, France, and Germany. It is available in Black Gold version and Arctic Gold for £399.90 and €399.90.
