As the name suggests, the Xiaomi Buds 6 is a successor to the Xiaomi Buds 5 series. To recall, the Xiaomi Buds 5 debuted globally back in September 2024, while the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro launched in February 2025. So we can expect high end specs and features like ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), Spatial Audio support, aptX lossless codecs, and much more. To recall, the base Buds 5 had a semi in-ear design, while the Pro model came with silicon eartips for better passive noise isolation.

Both TWS earbuds also came with a stem design, so Xiaomi will likely offer a similar design once again on the Xiaomi Buds 6.
