AOC has introduced a new 27-inch monitor, the U27U3XD, which features a unique dual-mode display system. It supports both 4K resolution at 144Hz and Full HD resolution at 288Hz. The monitor is officially priced at 1,999 yuan ($280), but it is available at a launch price of 1,799 yuan ($252) in China.

The U27U3XD is part of AOC’s U3 Graphic Pro lineup and includes a panel the company refers to as the “Master Screen.” The IPS display targets both content creators and gamers by delivering sharp visuals and accurate color reproduction.

AOC claims the panel provides 98% DCI-P3, 94% Adobe RGB, and 100% sRGB coverage, with a ΔE of less than 2. It supports 10-bit color depth and meets DisplayHDR 400 certification standards.

The monitor achieves a peak brightness of 450 nits and offers a contrast ratio of 2000:1. It also has a 4ms GTG response time. These specifications make it suitable for HDR video editing, color grading, and fast-paced gaming.

AOC has included a 90W USB Type-C port for video, data, and power delivery, allowing users to connect laptops or tablets with a single cable. The monitor also supports multi-device operation through a built-in KVM module, which enables seamless switching between two systems using one set of peripherals.

For connectivity, it includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-B upstream port, four USB 3.2 Gen1 downstream ports, and a 3.5mm audio output. The monitor supports VESA 100×100mm wall mounting and includes a three-year warranty.

The U27U3XD has received TÜV Rheinland certification for eye comfort. It features hardware-level low blue light reduction and flicker-free technology, which aim to reduce eye strain during extended use.
