Oppo’s freshly launched Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro continue the Reno family’s legacy of premium and unique design. At a glance, the Reno 15 series appears quite similar to any other modern day smartphone. But once you look at the Starlight version of the Reno 15 Pro and the Reno 15 in Aurora Blue, you see Oppo’s new holographic lithography in action. Oppo brings a shimmering effect that changes as light shifts.

This glass panel is flanked by aluminum frames on the sides. However, it’s not just all about the looks. The premium build quality of the Reno 15 lineup also comes with durability in mind. Oppo offers both variants with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

2. Performance That Keeps Pace

Under the hood, the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 SoC, which is a chip based on a 4nm process that blends raw performance and energy efficiency. This processor is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. So from everyday use to gaming, both models are more than capable of handling everything you throw at them.

These aren’t as powerful as flagship grade chips, but it is still capable of meeting the needs of most people. Keeping the beefy specs cool is Oppo’s Nano Ice Crystal Heat Dissipation, a cooling system designed to manage heat that allows the phones to maintain consistent performance during longer gaming.

3. Versatile Cameras

One of Oppo’s headline features for this generation of Reno phones is the new 200MP main camera. This is a 1/1.56-inch sensor size, f/1.8 aperture, and OIS support (Optical Image Stabilization). Furthermore, you also get a 50MP ultra wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter that offers 3.5x optical zoom and OIS support. For selfies and video calls, the front houses a 50MP shooter.

This triple camera setup is versatile, with all three cameras being usable. Every so often, you see a mid range model with a third sensor that is just for macro shots or depth sensing. Both models are also capable of recording videos at 4K/60fps, which makes the Reno 15 series capable for vloggers and content creators as well.

4. Massive Batteries & Fast Charging
