Logitech has launched the Signature Slim Solar+ K980 wireless keyboard in India. The keyboard uses Logi LightCharge technology to draw power from both sunlight and indoor lighting, allowing it to operate without manual charging. The product first debuted globally in September.

The Signature Slim Solar+ K980 is priced at ₹12,295 on Logitech’s official website. It is available at a discounted price of ₹10,995 on Amazon.in for a limited time. The keyboard is currently offered in a Graphite finish.
Logitech uses a light-absorbent strip and a long-lasting battery to enable solar charging. According to the company, the battery can store power for up to four months in complete darkness. The keyboard supports a battery lifespan of up to 10 years. Logitech also stresses its sustainability efforts, stating that the keyboard uses at least 70% post-consumer recycled plastic, while the aluminum inner plate is produced using renewable energy.
The Signature Slim Solar+ K980 supports multi-device connectivity through Easy-Switch keys. It pairs with up to three devices across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. The keyboard uses Bluetooth Low Energy for wireless connections and works with the Logi Options+ app.
Logitech lets users customize shortcuts, assign Smart Actions, and remap keys through the companion software. It features an AI Launch Key that provides quick access to tools like Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini, though this feature is not available on the Mac version. The keyboard uses a full-size layout with a number pad and scissor-switch keys that deliver a familiar laptop-style typing feel.
The keyboard weighs 700 grams and measures 430.8 x 142.9 x 20.2 mm. Logitech claims it supports up to 10 million keystrokes and maintains a quiet typing experience. The keyboard integrates with Logitech Flow-enabled mice for seamless switching and file transfer between devices.
