After pushing the major OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus 12, the brand has now has started rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.1.300 for the device. The update is now live in India and is being pushed out in batches. Only a small group of users will receive it today, and the wider rollout will follow in the next few days. The build number for this release is CPH2573_16.0.1.300(EX01). It is available only for users who have already upgraded to OxygenOS 16.

OxygenOS 16.0.1.300 Update features
The update focuses on improving speed and giving users more control over Home screen and system tools. App launch speed from the Home screen is now faster. When editing certain Flux themes, users can resize the clock. Widget customization gets an update too, with the option to rename widgets. New widgets have been added, including sunrise and sunset timings, and a combined weather and UV information widget.
The Photos app now supports automatic straightening while cropping and rotating portrait photos and architectural images. Phone Manager has faster virus scanning. The Daily Weather widget can now show rainy weather warnings. The Lock screen fingerprint “Ring” animation has been updated with a glowing effect. The update also includes the November 2025 Android security patch to improve system security.
Network upgrades are a major part of this release. A new interface for the AI LinkBoost Network Engine lets users see the number of network optimizations and how much lag time has been reduced. The device can now send real-time notifications when network acceleration turns on in poor network conditions. Users can also run a network speed test and view details like latency, upload speed, and download speed. OnePlus has confirmed that users on OxygenOS 15 will not receive this update. They must update to OxygenOS 16 first.
