Portronics has launched its latest gadget, Zaptor, a compact 200W car power inverter designed to provide power access for devices on the go. The device supports a maximum combined output of 200W and is aimed at frequent travelers, remote workers, and families.

The Zaptor is priced at ₹2,499 ($28) and is now available on the Portronics official website, Amazon, and retail outlets across India. It comes with a 12-month warranty.

The inverter supports two universal AC sockets that allow users to plug in laptops, small appliances, or camera chargers directly inside the car. It also includes two 36W USB-A ports and two 20W Type-C Power Delivery ports, which can fast-charge smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, cameras, and other USB-powered devices.
Portronics has added a digital voltage display on the Zaptor that shows the car’s real-time battery input voltage. The device also features a dedicated AC On/Off master switch that cuts power instantly to the AC sockets when needed.
The inverter is equipped with safety features such as overcharge protection, short circuit protection, advanced temperature control, and a fire-resistant casing. These features are designed to ensure safer operation during long drives and high-load scenarios.
The Zaptor supports all standard 12V car lighter sockets and works with various plug types. Its compact form factor makes it travel-friendly and easy to store in a car dashboard or glovebox.
