Lava has launched the Play Max smartphone in India as the newest addition to its Play series. The Lava Play Max comes with a premium glossy build and is offered in two colour options. It carries a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset runs Android 15 with a clean software experience that avoids ads, preloaded apps and unwanted notifications.
Powering the device is the 2.5GHz MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM options of 6GB plus 6GB virtual memory or 8GB plus 8GB virtual memory. It includes 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB.


A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging ensures reliable endurance throughout the day. The vapor chamber cooling system helps maintain thermal stability during long gaming sessions.
For photos and videos, it features a 50-megapixel main camera with EIS support and an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone can record videos at up to 4K at 30fps. Other features include IP54 resistance, GPS, Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type C port, and dual SIM support.

The Lava Play Max is available in Deccan Black and Himalayan White. It will go on sale across Lava’s retail network later this month.
