On the other hand, the Redmi Pad 2 4G model is getting the same update, but with the OS3.0.2.0.WOWEUXM build number. The HyperOS 3 update brings a major overhaul to Xiaomi’s custom Android skin. It brings new and improved visual language, smoother animations, more customization options, and even the new Hyper Island.

You also get advanced AI system optimizations, refreshed system icons, iOS 26 inspired visual flow, enhanced battery efficiency, and much more. For those interested, you can check whether you’ve received the update by heading to Settings, then clicking on About phone/tablet, and hitting System update. If your device is eligible for the update, you will get an option to download HyperOS 3. Keep in mind, Xiaomi is releasing the new update in a staggered manner, so you might not get it immediately.
