Earlier this month, Xiaomi officially released a new budget smartphone in the Indian market. The Redmi 15C arrived with an affordable price tag and an eye catching design. Now, this model has finally gone on sale in the region, so here are its specs, pricing, launch offers, and more.
Redmi 15C: What do you get?
The new budget phone sports a tall 6.9-inch HD+ Dot Drop display with 1600 x 720 resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a 810 nits of peak brightness, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, and DC dimming for better eye comfort. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. A sizeable 6000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 33W wired fast charging.

For optics, the rear has a 50MP dual camera setup, while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Other notable features include Android 15 OS based HyperOS 2 custom skin out of the box, up to 2TB of storage expansion via a microSD card slot, 10W wired reverse charging support, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, dual SIM support, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.4, dual band WiFi, and FM Radio.
Redmi 15C: Price and Availability
The Chinese tech giant has just kicked off the sale for the Redmi 15C in the Indian market via Amazon India, the brand’s official website, and the official retail partners. It is available in color options, namely Midnight Black, Moonlight Blue, and Dusk Purple. The Redmi 15C has a starting price tag of Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB + 128GB model, while the 6GB + 128GB version costs Rs 13,999. Lastly, the top end model with the 8GB + 128GB configuration costs Rs 15,499.
