Xiaomi seems to be in no rush to refresh its Redmi gaming laptop lineup in 2026. The news comes straight from Ma Zhiyu, Xiaomi’s product marketing director, who confirmed the decision during a recent user interaction on Weibo.
Responding to a user who asked whether Redmi would launch a new gaming laptop next year, Ma gave a blunt “no.” If that holds, Xiaomi will skip a Redmi-branded gaming laptop for the second year in a row.

That said, the company isn’t abandoning laptops altogether. Ma confirmed that Redmi notebooks will still receive an upgrade in 2026.
