OnePlus has been a reliable brand when it comes to software updates. The brand consistently releases updates to its devices, incorporating exciting new features and useful upgrades. However, for a long time, the brand has offered just three major Android updates to its phones, particularly mid-range phones and several tablets. Newer devices, though, come with longer software update promises.
Here, we’ve curated a list of OnePlus smartphones and tablets that are eligible to receive three major Android OS updates, which also means three generations of OxygenOS upgrades.
OnePlus devices eligible to receive three major Android updates
- OnePlus 12R (last update: Android 17)
- OnePlus 11R (last update: Android 16)
- OnePlus 10R (last update: Android 15)
- OnePlus 10T (last update: Android 15)
- OnePlus Nord 3 (last update: Android 16)
- OnePlus Pad (last update: Android 16)
- OnePlus Pad 2 (last update: Android 17)
- OnePlus Pad 3 (last update: Android 18)

To keep the list relevant and short, we’ve only included devices starting from the OnePlus 10 series. As for the Nord series, just the Nord 3 is eligible for three OS updates. Also, we haven’t included devices that haven’t been released outside China.
In recent years, OnePlus has improved its software update policy to offer a maximum of four Android OS updates, and that’s not just exclusive to high-end phones. Even mid-range phones, such as the Nord CE 5, Nord 4, and Nord 5, promise the same software support.
