Oppo released a Starry Pink variant of the Reno 15 5G in China, featuring what the company calls an industry-first starburst grating process that creates a twinkling effect on the rear panel when tilted. The finish uses a textured metal frame and high-gloss ice-clear glass.


The device is available through Oppo Store, Tmall, Pinduoduo, and JD.com in four configurations: 12GB/256GB at 2,999 yuan ($429), 12GB/512GB at 3,299 yuan ($472), 16GB/256GB at 3,299 yuan ($472), and 16GB/512GB at 3,599 yuan ($515). Buyers receive complimentary headphones or a gift box, with students eligible for an Oppo fast-charging power bank.
The Reno 15 5G runs a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor built on a 4nm process with clock speeds reaching 3.25GHz, paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU at 1,300MHz. Memory options include 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone ships with Android 16 and ColorOS 16.
Display specifications include a 6.32-inch flat OLED panel with 1.5K resolution (2,640 x 1,216 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and 3,600 nits local peak brightness. The screen incorporates 3,840Hz PWM dimming and Oppo Crystal Shield Glass protection.
Camera hardware comprises a 200MP main sensor (1/1.56-inch, f/1.8) with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide (112-degree field of view, f/2.2), and a 50MP 3.5x periscope (f/2.8) with OIS. All rear cameras support 4K 60fps video. The front camera uses a 50MP sensor (f/2.0) with 4K 60fps capability.
The device carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings and includes a 6,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging. Connectivity covers 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple satellite positioning systems.
