Realme has officially launched the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ in India today, expanding its premium mid-range lineup. Both smartphones arrive with large 144Hz AMOLED displays, 7,000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging, and advanced camera hardware. With a focus on performance, durability, and long battery life, the new models are positioned for users looking for feature-rich smartphones in the upper mid-range segment.
Realme 16 Pro, 16 Pro+ specifications and features
The Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ feature AMOLED panels with curved and straight display options, offering a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours, and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. The Realme 16 Pro sports a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display, while the 16 Pro+ features a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED screen. Brightness levels go up to 6,500 nits on the Pro+ and 1,800 nits on the Pro, with DCI-P3 colour support across modes.
Powering the Realme 16 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, while the Realme 16 Pro+ runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform. Both are built on a 4nm process and paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM along with 14GB dynamic RAM support. UFS 3.1 storage options go up to 256GB on the Pro and 512GB on the Pro+. Each device houses a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging via a USB Type-C port.
The Realme 16 Pro features an OIS-assisted 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 main camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, while the Pro+ adds a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom alongside a 200-megapixel OIS main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Both devices include a 50-megapixel front camera with 4K video recording support.
On the software side, the Realme 16 Pro series ship with Android 16 out of the box with the latest Realme UI 7 on top. Both phones are confirmed to receive three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared remote control, stereo audio, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, extensive 5G band support, and IP66/IP68/IP69-rated water and dust resistance.
Realme 16 Pro, 16 Pro+ price and availability
The Realme 16 Pro is available in three configurations: 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 31,999, 8GB+256GB at Rs 33,999, and 12GB+256GB at Rs 36,999. Colour options include Pebble Grey, Orchid Purple, and Master Gold.
The Realme 16 Pro+ is offered in two variants: 8GB+256GB for Rs 41,999 and 12GB+512GB for Rs 44,999. It is available in Pebble Grey, Camellia Pink, and Master Gold. Both phones are now available via online and offline retail channels, with launch offers expected through select banks and platforms.
The 16 Pro series is now available for purchase via Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail stores. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G starts at an effective price of Rs 35,999 after bank and exchange offers, while the Realme 16 Pro 5G is available from Rs 28,999. Buyers can avail bank discounts, exchange benefits, and bundled gifts such as Realme Buds T200 on select variants. Existing Realme users are also eligible for additional loyalty benefits during the launch period.
