Casio has just expanded its beloved A158 lineup, which has been the brand’s classic, affordable digital watch since 1989. The A58 series is getting two fresh variants that add new color options, while retaining the vintage stainless steel build and strap.
Casio A158 Launches in Two New Colors
The new Casio Vintage A158WEA-2 and A158WEA-7 both feature the classic square resin case and stainless-steel metal band that fans of the series know well, but differ in their dial framing. The A158WEA-2 sports a cool blue frame around its standard digital screen, bringing a subtle yet stylish splash of color to the vintage face. Meanwhile, A158WEA-7 opts for a more light silver-toned frame, giving a clean and versatile look that pairs easily with most outfits.

Both models keep the A158’s traditional feature set, including a 12/24-hour time formats, green LED backlight, automatic calendar, stopwatch, alarm and hourly signal. The stainless steel band is adjustable and keeps the retro design. Even with updated dial colours, the essence of the A158 hasn’t changed. These are two budget friendly digital watches that retain Casio’s durability and simplicity. So you get the minimalist design on the brand’s reliable watches.
These updated A158WEA-2 and A158WEA-7 models are already live for pre-order in select regions like Japan and Europe, with broader availability expected to follow. Prices in Europe are around 59.90 Euros each, keeping the watches highly affordable while offering collectors and new buyers a fresh take on a beloved Casio staple. In related news, the popular watch maker recently announced new G-Shock watches with metallic finish and bright red display dials.
