A new gaming-oriented mini PC has arrived that aims to deliver desktop-class performance in a highly compact system. The tiny new computer combines Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU with a top tier Intel Core Ultra series processor, and generous memory options. So here’s what SimplyNUC’s Jean Canyon NUC 15 Performance has to offer.
Jean Canyon NUC 15 Performance Specs: Beast of a Mini PC
Under the small hood, the mini PC can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, which is coupled with the RTX 5070 laptop GPU that offers 8GB of VRAM. But one of the highlights is the memory capacity, with the option to buy the tiny system with a whopping 96GB of DDR5 RAM. This makes it one of the few mini PCs that is capable of supporting this much RAM.

In other words, you can expect great heavy multitasking, visualizing, and large scale creative workflows, apart from just gaming. Storage is handled via dual M.2 SSD slots with support for PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 drives, and users can scale up to 8TB total capacity. Despite its small footprint (around 3 liters in volume), the system doesn’t skimp on connectivity. It offers a wide range of ports, including multiple USB-A (USB-3.2 Gen2), Thunderbolt 4/USB4 Type-C, dual HDMI 2.1, dual DisplayPort 2.1, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
As of right now, the pricing details of the Jean Canyon NUC 15 Performance are still at large. But the brand has confirmed the base storage configuration, which will start from 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. So the higher end options are likely quite expensive, especially considering the current pricing for PC components like RAM. In related news, Minix recently announced the new Neo Z95 mini PC with modest specs.
