Nothing has confirmed a Pink edition for its upcoming Phone (4a), representing the brand’s first-ever pink smartphone. The device launches March 5 at 10:30 AM GMT during a livestreamed event from Central Saint Martins in London.

The Pink variant will join the already confirmed White, Blue, and Black options. According to Nothing, the colour achieves its distinctive appearance through tinted transparency layers that allow light to interact with the underlying resin, creating depth and texture. The model pairs a pink frame with silver buttons and a camera plate, with retail packaging following the same colour scheme.

The Phone (4a) will also introduce a redesigned Glyph Bar lighting system, replacing previous configurations with six vertically-arranged white LEDs positioned alongside the camera module’s right edge. A dedicated red LED signals recording activity. The system supports notifications, progress indicators, camera timer countdowns, and shutter confirmation while retaining the hourglass effect from the Phone (3) despite the single-column layout.

Nothing stated that the camera bump has been reduced compared to the Phone (3a) due to the use of a tetra prism telephoto lens. The Glyph Bar will also integrate with system-level features such as Android 16 live updates, expanding its functional use beyond notifications. To promote the Pink variant, Nothing has launched marketing campaigns in London, including graffiti installations across central locations and themed flyposters. The Nothing Store in Bengaluru has also received a pink-themed window takeover.

Leaked specifications suggest the Phone (4a) may feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The software will likely be Nothing OS 4 based on Android 16.

Camera details point to a 50MP main rear sensor and a 32MP front camera. Battery capacity and charging details have not been confirmed yet. Full specifications and pricing will be announced during the March 5 launch event, which will be streamed globally.
