Oppo has confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will make its global debut later this year, signalling a major step for its premium Ultra lineup. The announcement was made during the company’s media event at MWC 2026 event in Barcelona, where executives highlighted the device’s strong focus on next-generation mobile photography.

The Find X9 Ultra will mark the first time Oppo’s Ultra platform expands beyond China. Positioned as “Built to Be Your Next Camera,” the device features an advanced imaging system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. Oppo executives stated that the new Ultra model is designed to set a higher benchmark in smartphone photography. Complete specifications, pricing and regional rollout timelines will be shared closer to launch.

Reports indicate that the Find X9 Ultra may feature a 6.82-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution, similar to its predecessor. While early engineering units are said to support a 144Hz refresh rate, the final retail version is expected to offer a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the camera front, the phone is tipped to include a quad-camera system comprising a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 200-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera, and an additional 50-megapixel periscope lens. For selfies, it may feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the device is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The battery capacity is said to be around 7,050mAh, which is slightly lower than the Find X9 Pro’s 7,500mAh unit but larger than the 6,100mAh battery found in the Find X8 Ultra. Charging support may include 80W wired and 50W wireless speeds.
