The newly announced Oppo 120W SuperVOOC power bank 15000 is positioned as a high-speed charging solution with a 15,000mAh capacity. It supports 120W output, enabling compatible Oppo and OnePlus smartphones to charge at their maximum supported speeds. This makes it particularly useful for users who rely heavily on their devices throughout the day and need quick top-ups while travelling. Buyers can choose from colors like Star Orange and Space Black.

A key highlight is its compliance with China’s latest mandatory power bank safety regulations, which are set to take effect from April 2027. Oppo confirms that the product has successfully cleared a series of stringent tests, including puncture resistance, compression, high-temperature endurance, and long-term ageing simulations. These checks are aimed at reducing risks such as overheating and internal short circuits during prolonged usage.

The device is also expected to feature Oppo’s new “Ice Shield” battery technology. This includes enhanced safety mechanisms and the ability to store and display battery health data through software, giving users better visibility into the condition of the power bank over time. Additionally, the new regulations require traceability features, meaning users can access core battery information such as manufacturer details.

Alongside the power bank, Oppo has also opened pre-orders for a compact dual-port 120W GaN charger in a Bright Warm Sunshine and Rose Mist Velvet Yarn finish. It is expected to complement the power bank with similarly fast charging capabilities in a more pocket-friendly form factor.

Both products are currently available for reservation on Oppo’s official store, and they could debut alongside the upcoming Find X9 series. Pricing details are yet to be confirmed, but availability is expected to expand closer to the launch event.
