Xiaomi has expanded its smart home lineup with the launch of the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 4. The new model brings a mix of improved cleaning power, smarter navigation, and longer runtime. It builds on the brand’s existing ecosystem while focusing on practical upgrades that matter in daily use.

The Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 4 comes with a notable jump in suction capability, reaching up to 10000Pa. This increase should help in handling fine dust, debris, and pet hair more effectively across different floor types. The device also includes a redesigned dual anti-tangle side brush, which reduces hair wrapping and improves edge cleaning.
It carries a 520ml dustbin and a 270ml water tank, allowing both vacuuming and mopping in a single run. Xiaomi claims that in open spaces, the robot can cover areas up to 300 square meters, making it suitable for larger homes.
Powering the device is a 5200mAh battery, which can deliver up to 180 minutes of operation in standard cleaning mode. The robot can also cross obstacles up to 20mm, helping it move smoothly across door thresholds and carpets.
The robot relies on LDS laser navigation for mapping and route planning. This enables it to create accurate room layouts, avoid obstacles, and follow efficient cleaning paths. The system is designed to reduce missed spots and unnecessary repetition during cleaning cycles.
Users can control the device through the Mijia app, which allows scheduling, remote operation, and custom cleaning modes. Multiple cleaning patterns are supported, giving flexibility depending on the type of surface or level of dirt.
