Lifelong Electronics has launched the ROAR projector in India, adding a mix of streaming, audio, and karaoke features to the budget projector segment. The device runs on Android and comes with Netflix, Prime Video, and JioHotstar pre-installed. It also supports Miracast for screen casting and allows users to download apps through its app store.

The projector uses an LED light source with a native resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels and support for content up to 4K. Lifelong claims a brightness of 4500 lumens. It can project images from 30 inches up to 150 inches, with a throw distance ranging between 2.29 feet and 11.1 feet. For setup, it includes auto keystone correction and manual focus adjustment.
Audio is where the ROAR stands out in its category. It comes with 20W built-in speakers, which is higher than what most projectors at this price typically offer. The output is designed to handle movies, music, and sports without requiring external speakers. The projector can also double as a Bluetooth speaker.

The device also includes two wireless microphones aimed at karaoke use. Users get multiple voice modulation modes, along with a Live Commentary feature that lets them add voice input during sports viewing or group sessions.
In terms of connectivity, the ROAR supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and USB. It also includes a maintenance slot for cleaning the lens, which is not common in this segment. The lamp is rated for up to 50,000 hours of use. Weighing 1000 grams, the projector is designed to be portable. Lifelong is offering a 12-month warranty with the device.

The ROAR projector is now available in India at a launch price of Rs. 7,999 on Amazon and Flipkart.
