Motorola has officially confirmed that the Edge 70 Pro will be unveiled on April 22 in India. Ahead of the launch, its landing page has appeared on Flipkart, revealing several key details about its specifications. Here’s a look at what the Edge 70 Pro offers.

As per the Flipkart page, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5200 nits. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone also comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the Edge 70 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging support and comes preloaded with Hello UX based on Android 16. For heat dissipation, the device features a 4600mm² vapor chamber cooling unit.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro key features

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is confirmed to receive three years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates. For audiophiles, it will arrive with Dolby Atmos-tuned dual speakers. While it is confirmed to feature a Sony LYT-710 50-megapixel primary camera, details about the rest of the cameras have yet to be revealed.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro color options

The Edge 70 Pro will be available in three Pantone shades: Lily White with a marble finish, Tea (green) with a satin luxe finish, and Titan (blue) with a tailored fabric finish. At present, there is no information about the device’s price, but considering that the Edge 70 was priced at Rs 29,999 at launch, it is likely that the upcoming Pro model could be priced under Rs 40,000.

Motorola is also reportedly planning to launch a device named the Edge 70 Pro+. There is no clarity yet on how the Pro+ variant will differ from the standard Pro model.
