The air conditioner features a sleek, minimalist white design that matches Xiaomi’s signature aesthetic. It uses a variable frequency (inverter) system to support both cooling and heating functions, allowing it to perform well in all seasons.

The system achieves a top-tier energy efficiency rating under China’s new standards with an Annual Performance Factor (APF) of 5.45. Xiaomi claims this model significantly reduces electricity consumption compared to less efficient units, thanks to its Lingyun intelligent energy-saving algorithm.

Xiaomi has fitted the air conditioner with a 9.8cc compressor, delivering a cooling capacity of 2670W, adjustable between 150W and 4650W. For heating, it offers 4570W rated output, a maximum of 6100W, and a 1050W PTC auxiliary heater.

The air conditioner moves air efficiently with a cross-flow fan that delivers an impressive airflow rate of 740m³/h. It supports vertical and horizontal swing modes to evenly distribute air throughout a room. Xiaomi has also included an upper and lower airflow system, which prevents direct cold air drafts for improved comfort.

To address hygiene concerns, the unit includes self-cleaning capabilities for both the indoor and outdoor units. The system reduces bacteria buildup and ensures cleaner air over time. Xiaomi has added intelligent features such as automatic clogging reminders and deep-cleaning functions to keep the unit running efficiently.

The air conditioner integrates with HyperOS Connect and the Mijia app, enabling AI-powered automation, cloud-based remote maintenance, and OTA software updates.

Xiaomi has optimized noise levels for quiet settings like bedrooms. The indoor unit operates as quietly as 18dB(A) on its lowest setting, while higher speeds remain within 40dB(A). The outdoor unit produces around 50dB(A) of noise during operation.

The indoor unit measures 795 x 310 x 205 mm and weighs 9.5 kg, while the outdoor unit weighs 22 kg and measures 813 x 560 x 311 mm.

In related news, Xiaomi has recently introduced a new hair dryer featuring nano water ion technology and smart scalp protection, alongside the launch of the Mijia Titanium Thermos Cup Ti2 in a Moonlight Silver finish.
