Edifier has launched its latest desktop Bluetooth speaker, the Huazai Melo Bar, in the Chinese market. It is priced at 329 yuan ($48) and is now available on JD.com. The speaker is available in two colors, Mist White and Night Black.
Edifier Melo Bar Specifications
The Edifier Melo Bar uses dual 52mm drivers with a symmetrical bass reflex system for enhanced bass and clear mids and highs. It features a Class D amplifier, providing 5W total continuous output (10W peak), and DSP tuning for balanced sound in all modes.
The speaker includes a built-in microphone with AEC echo-cancellation for clear calls and offers three audio modes: Music for detailed sound, Game for spatial positioning, and Movie for immersive audio.
Edifier includes a modular light panel system in the Melo Bar with 10 themed panels and a blank DIY panel for custom designs. It features 15 lighting effects and an RGB system with 16.8 million colors, customizable via onboard controls, the Edifier Connect app, or TempoHub PC software.
The Melo Bar offers versatile connectivity with Bluetooth 6.0 for stable, efficient wireless performance and a USB wired mode for combined power and audio. It supports Bluetooth protocols like A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP, with a wireless range of up to 10 meters.
The speaker features physical controls for adjusting volume, lighting effects, and sound profiles, along with indicator lights for input modes and a do-not-disturb mode for uninterrupted use.
