Redmi is scheduled to hold a launch event today in China to unveil the Redmi K90 Max. Alongside, the brand will introduce multiple products, including the Redmi K Pad 2, Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G, Redmi Book Pro (2026) in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, and the Redmi Buds 8 TWS earbuds. Hours before the official announcement, the Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G has been officially listed along with its pricing, revealing key details of this 4G-enabled tablet.

The Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G comes equipped with a 9.7-inch LCD display offering a 2K resolution of 2048 x 1280 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel reaches up to 600nits brightness and includes TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly usage.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset built on a 6nm process, paired with LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, which is overlaid over the Android 16 OS.
The tablet packs a 7,600mAh battery that supports up to 18W charging, though it ships with a 15W adapter in the box. For audio, it includes a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support.


For imaging, the device includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The connectivity features available on the device include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual SIM 4G support. Lastly, the tablet flaunts a metal unibody design and has a slim profile, measuring around 7.4mm in thickness and weighing just over 400 grams.
Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G price and availability
The Redmi Pad 2 SE is priced at CNY 1,099 (~$160) for the 6GB+128GB variant, and it comes in Dark Grey and Silver shades. On the other hand, the 4G-enabled version costs CNY 1,399 (~$205) and can be bought only in Silver.
