G-Shock GW-BX5600CBG-2 Specifications

The GW-BX5600CBG-2 incorporates recycled fishing nets into its band, reducing waste and addressing a pressing global issue of marine pollution. Casio has also used bio-based resin for key components of the watch, further highlighting its commitment to environmentally friendly materials. The dark navy bezel and face complement the patterned band, creating a modern and versatile design.

Casio built the GW-BX5600CBG-2 with durability and performance in mind, featuring shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, and a lightweight 55-gram design. Its compact case measures 49.1 x 44.1 x 13.4 millimeters, and the Memory-in-Pixel (MIP) LCD ensures excellent readability in all conditions.

The watch features advanced technology, including Casio’s Tough Solar system for up to 6 months of use (22 months in power-saving mode). It also offers Bluetooth connectivity to sync with the Casio Watches app, providing auto time adjustment, world time for 300+ cities, and a phone-finder feature. Multi-band 6 ensures accurate timekeeping across time zones.

Additionally, the watch features a full auto-calendar (programmed until 2099), a 24-hour countdown timer, a stopwatch, and five daily alarms. It includes a white LED backlight with 1.5 or 3-second illumination options for low-light visibility.

In related news, Casio has recently introduced the G-Shock GMW-BZ5000RC-1 in Europe, featuring a striking rainbow metal design, while the Edifice EQB-1300 series is also expected to debut in the region with a premium steel build.
