Xiaomi has announced the launch of its new Mijia 12Kg Ultra-Slim Built-In Drum Washing Machine. The product is priced at 1699 yuan ($248) but is available at a debut price of 1399 yuan ($204) on the company’s Youpin platform.

The washing machine features a sleek, fully integrated design with micro-gap embedding for true built-in installation, reducing dust accumulation and ensuring a modern, flush appearance. It is equipped with a front rotary knob for intuitive and easy operation.
Xiaomi equipped the washer with a 12kg drum capacity, a 525mm drum diameter for deeper cleaning and reduced tangling, and a high 1.25 wash ratio for improved stain removal without sacrificing efficiency.
Xiaomi included a 3D water flow system for effective dirt removal, a detergent pre-mixing inlet for thorough and residue-free cleaning, and 27 wash programs tailored for specific fabrics and bulky items like blankets.
The machine eliminates 99.999% of bacteria and viruses with a steam sterilization mode, features a multi-layer cleaning system with warm water, high-temperature rinsing, and steam, and includes a nano antibacterial door seal for 99.9% hygiene protection.
The washer connects to HyperOS and the Mi Home app, allowing remote control, status tracking, OTA updates, and voice command activation via XiaoAI-enabled devices.
Xiaomi integrated a six-dimensional vibration reduction system with dual suspension and multiple shock absorbers. The washer operates with minimal noise, making it suitable for nighttime use. The seven-layer noise reduction design further dampens sound.
