After weeks of leaks, Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 16T will debut on May 22 in India. The device will arrive as a successor to last year’s Realme 15T, which featured specifications such as a 6.57-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, a Dimensity 6400 chipset, and a 7,000mAh battery. The company has confirmed that the Realme 16T will pack the largest battery ever seen on a numbered Realme smartphone.

According to the brand, the Realme 16T will feature a massive 8,000mAh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to three days of usage on a full charge. The device will support 45W fast charging along with bypass charging support.

Realme claims that the phone can deliver up to 11 hours of continuous 60fps BGMI gameplay. Despite housing a large battery, the handset will have a slim 8.8mm profile.

The device will feature a large 6.8-inch flat display. While the company has used an aluminium alloy material for the camera module, the side frame will feature a metallic finish. In terms of design, the Realme 16T will be available in Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black color options.

With 10 days remaining before launch, the company is expected to reveal more details about the Realme 16T in the coming days. However, the device was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the Dimensity 6300 chipset. Some reports claim that the phone could feature a slightly tweaked version of the chip, possibly called the Dimensity 6360.

The Geekbench listing also revealed 8GB RAM and Android 16. A recent report further suggested that the phone could arrive in multiple variants, including 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB.
