Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo S60 series in China later this month. The upcoming lineup is expected to include the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60e, while there is still no confirmation regarding the rumored S60 Pro Mini.

Ahead of the launch, Vivo has started teasing key details of the series through official promotional material. Fresh teasers that have emerged today have confirmed new details about the S60 series.

Vivo S60 front design, key specs confirmed

Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao recently shared new teaser images confirming several specifications of the Vivo S60 lineup. The images reveal the phone’s flat display design and confirm that the entire series will feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo claims the sensor supports unlocking speeds as low as 0.1 seconds, while fingerprint registration can reportedly be completed in just 1 second.

The company has also confirmed that the Vivo S60 series will feature a large 7,200mAh battery paired with 90W fast charging support. Other confirmed features include stereo dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance.

Another official image circulating on Chinese social media platforms reveals the rear design of the device, showcasing a triple-camera setup. Reports suggest the lineup may include a Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera.

Recent leaks have further revealed that the Vivo S60 could feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution support. The device is also tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. In addition, reports claim the phone may support magnetic accessories and launch in multiple colour options, including a pink variant.
