Samsung and Google have officially showcased their upcoming AI-powered smart glasses during Google I/O 2026. Developed with eyewear brands Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, the new wearable is designed to bring Gemini AI features into a more practical everyday form factor. While complete specifications are still under wraps, the companies have already revealed several important details about the intelligent eyewear.
3Live translation is a major highlight
The glasses support real-time translation during conversations and can also translate menus, signs and other visible text directly within the user’s field of view. Samsung and Google say the translated audio can sound similar to the original speaker’s voice.
