Oppo will unveil the Reno 16 series on May 25 in China. With the launch approaching, the company has started confirming several key details about the smartphones. In a poster shared today, Oppo revealed the rear camera specifications of the Reno 16 lineup.
Oppo Reno 16 series camera specs confirmed

The poster confirms that the Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro will feature an identical rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel main camera. The setup will also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a smart LED flash unit.
Although both phones feature the same megapixel count, the fine print on the poster mentions that the camera hardware may vary between models. There is a possibility that the camera sensors could be similar to those used in the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro.
Reports suggest that the Reno 16 will feature a 6.32-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8550 chipset and pack a 6,700mAh battery with 80W charging support.
The Reno 16 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to arrive with a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel offering the same resolution and refresh rate. The device could feature the Dimensity 9500s chipset and a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Both smartphones are expected to arrive in 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB variants. Color options may include Heartbeat Star (white) and Midnight Black. The Reno 16 could also get 16GB+256GB and 16GB+1TB variants along with a Galaxy Purple shade, while the Reno 16 Pro may arrive in an additional Dream Blue color option. Both phones will also support the Oppo Bubble, a selfie mirror accessory.
As for the global launch, the Reno 16 series has started receiving certifications across several markets, suggesting a possible launch timeline between June and July.
