As scheduled, Realme today announced the new Realme 16T 5G in India. The highlight of the phone is its massive 8,000mAh battery, which the brand claims can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge.
Even with such a large battery, the company has managed to keep the phone under 9mm thick, and it weighs 224 grams.
Realme 16T Specifications
The phone features a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of brightness. Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Realme has also added a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system to keep thermals in check.
On the camera side, the Realme 16T uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary sensor alongside a 2MP secondary sensor. There is also a 16MP front camera. One unusual addition is the “Selfie Mirror” feature on the rear panel, which allows users to preview themselves while using the rear camera for selfies.
The phone runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0 out of the box. Realme has also included IP69 water and dust resistance, along with military-grade shock protection.
The phone supports 45W fast charging and also includes bypass charging.
Price and Availability
The Realme 16T 5G retails for Rs 29,999 for the sole 6GB + 128GB variant.
It will be available through Flipkart and the official Realme India website. Pre-bookings are already open, with the first sale starting on May 27 at 12 PM IST and running until June 2.
