Xiaomi has globally launched the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro smartphones today. The premium flagship lineup is equipped with Leica-branded cameras, large silicon-carbon batteries, AMOLED displays, and MediaTek chipsets. While both phones share a similar design language and several flagship-grade features, there are important differences that separate the standard and Pro models.
1Processor and performance
The biggest difference between the two phones is the chipset. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 built on a 3nm process. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T comes with the Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process. Both phones support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, but the Pro model is clearly aimed at heavier gaming and AI workloads.
