Xiaomi has introduced a new addition to its growing smart home appliance lineup in Europe with the launch of the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer (8KG). The new all-in-one machine combines washing and drying functions in a single unit.
The company says the washer-dryer focuses on convenience, energy efficiency, and smart connectivity while maintaining an affordable price point. Xiaomi has priced the appliance at 539 EUR in the European market.

The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer comes with an 8kg washing capacity and a large 525mm drum designed for handling everyday laundry loads. Xiaomi has also added its Power Wash technology for a stronger water flow to improve cleaning performance during wash cycles.
The machine also has a hygiene-focused steam cleaning mode. According to Xiaomi, the high-temperature steam system can remove up to 99.99% of bacteria from clothes.
The washer-dryer also includes intelligent drying technology. Built-in sensors monitor temperature and moisture levels during drying and automatically stop the cycle once clothes reach the desired dryness level. Xiaomi says this helps prevent overheating and reduces the risk of fabric damage.
Users will also find more than 30 washing programs available on the machine, including a 15-minute quick wash option for lightly worn clothing. The washer-dryer is controlled through a colorful touch panel, while Xiaomi Home app support allows users to operate and monitor the appliance remotely.
Through the app, owners can customize wash settings, save personal routines, and receive future OTA software updates. Xiaomi is also promoting one-tap wash-and-dry functions aimed at simplifying daily laundry tasks.
