Huawei has officially launched the Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition in China. The new router brings gaming-focused features, Wi-Fi 7+ connectivity, and smart home integration while retaining much of the hardware found in the standard Router X1 Pro.
The Huawei Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition is now available for pre-order at 666 yuan (~ $98).

Huawei Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition Specifications
The router supports Huawei’s Wi-Fi 7+ technology, which is designed to improve wall penetration, reduce latency, and enhance resistance to interference. Huawei says these improvements are made possible through weak-signal dual Wi-Fi acceleration and dynamic narrow-bandwidth technology.
It also supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO), a key Wi-Fi 7 feature that allows compatible devices to connect to both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. This helps deliver faster and more stable wireless connections for gaming and other bandwidth-intensive tasks.

In terms of design, the router features a cylindrical body and an 11-antenna array that provides 360-degree signal coverage. Powering the device is Huawei’s self-developed Lingxiao SoC, which includes an embedded CPU aimed at reducing network latency.
The router comes equipped with four 2.5G Ethernet ports, allowing users to connect gaming PCs, consoles, and other high-speed devices. Huawei says the ports are suitable for gigabit-class broadband connections and large file transfers.
The Router X1 Pro Gaming Edition also includes a built-in Star Flash gateway and supports Huawei’s HarmonyOS smart ecosystem. Running HarmonyOS 4, the router features Huawei’s Game Turbo engine and comes with a free 40-day NetEase UU Accelerator membership.
Huawei originally introduced the Router X1 Pro last year. The new gaming edition builds on the standard version, mostly with a new design.
