Last week, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro flagship phones for the global market. Today, the brand held a dedicated launch event to unveil the Xiaomi 17T as well as the Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED series. This post focuses on the all the information that you need to know about 17T’s India launch.

The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2756 x 1268 pixels, an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The panel also supports a 480Hz touch sampling rate and 3840Hz PWM dimming. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

For photography, the Xiaomi 17T sports a Leica-tuned triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS and a 115mm focal length, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed within the display cut-out.

Battery duties are handled by a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 67W HyperCharge, 50W PPS charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. Xiaomi has also included its 3D IceLoop cooling system, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an X-axis linear motor and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The phone carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and runs HyperOS 3-based Android 16. It will be treated with three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Xiaomi 17T price and availability

The Xiaomi 17T is priced at Rs 59,999 (~$625) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and Rs 64,999 (~$670) for the 12GB + 512GB model. Buyers can choose from Violet, Blue and Black color options. The smartphone will go on sale from June 10 through Amazon India and Xiaomi India channels. As part of the launch offers, customers can avail a Rs 5,000 discount on eligible credit card and credit card EMI transactions.
