Casio has announced a new addition to its G-Shock lineup, partnering with the Seoul-based clothing brand thisisneverthat for a custom version of the standard DW-5600. The new model, officially named the DW-5600TNT-7, is scheduled to launch in July 2026. It takes the familiar DW-5600 square shape and updates it with clear materials and a few specific design adjustments.

Design Details
Casio used a translucent, clear resin for both the outer bezel and the watch band. The watch face features an inverted LCD, meaning the background is black and the numbers are light, which provides a high-contrast look against the clear resin.
The thisisneverthat logo appears in multiple locations, including the upper section of the dial above the display, the translucent strap keeper, and the stainless-steel case back.
The words PROTECTION and G-SHOCK, which are typically just molded or painted onto the top and bottom of the bezel, are coated in a phosphorescent finish on this model. This means the text itself glows in the dark, separate from the watch’s internal screen lighting.

Internally, the watch relies on the standard technology you would expect from the DW-5600 series. It measures 48.9 by 42.8 by 13.4 millimeters and weighs 52 grams. The screen is covered by mineral glass. It includes Casio’s standard shock resistance and is water-resistant up to 200 meters.
The daily feature set is straightforward. It includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, and a multi-function alarm. There is also a flash alert setting that blinks the white LED backlight when an alarm or timer goes off. For power, the watch uses a standard CR2016 coin-cell battery.
Casio estimates the battery life at about five years, meaning you will eventually need to open the case to swap it out, as this model does not include the company’s solar charging technology.
Pricing and Availability
The DW-5600TNT-7 is currently listed on Casio’s international site and will retail for ¥18,700 ($116) in Japan when it releases this July. It will ship in a custom box designed specifically for the collaboration.
In related news, Casio recently brought the retro-inspired AQ230A-7DMQY to the US with a stainless steel bracelet, while also launching the premium MTG-B4000B-1A G-Shock featuring a carbon fiber and stainless steel construction.
