Portronics has released a new portable charger in India, the Aero 10. It is a 10,000mAh power bank that supports 20W charging and features an integrated USB-C cable. The device is positioned as a straightforward utility accessory for users who want to avoid carrying separate charging cables for their daily electronics.
Portronics Aero 10 Specifications
Instead of the usual rectangular slab design common to most power banks, the Aero 10 uses a square shape with rounded corners and a standard matte exterior. It weighs 245 grams, which is typical for a 10,000mAh battery pack, and is small enough to fit into most pockets or small bag compartments without taking up much space. Portronics is selling the device in three standard colors: Black, Navy Blue, and Mocha.
The power bank comes with a built-in, flat-braided USB-C cable. This cable handles both power output to charge your devices and power input to recharge the power bank itself. It also physically loops into the chassis to act as a lanyard for carrying. In addition to the integrated cable, there is a standard USB-C port on the device, which also supports two-way charging. This dual setup allows users to plug in a second cable and charge two devices simultaneously.
Regarding performance, the Aero 10 maxes out at 20W via USB Power Delivery (PD). While 20W is not particularly fast compared to the higher-wattage chargers available today, it is sufficient for standard fast charging on most modern Android smartphones, as well as smaller accessories like wireless earbuds, tablets, and smartwatches. It will not be adequate for charging larger hardware like laptops.
Pricing and Availability
The Portronics Aero 10 is available now in India. The official retail price is listed at Rs. 2,499 ($26), but it is currently available at a launch price of Rs. 1,249 ($13).
It can be purchased through the Portronics website, Amazon India, Flipkart, and physical retail stores. The power bank comes with a standard 12-month manufacturer warranty.
